Kynan Usback is the Founding Director and Principal Environmental Scientist/Occupational Hygienist
Kynan has over twenty year’s practical experience with the primary areas of his expertise including the evaluation and control of hazards associated with asbestos & hazardous materials, occupational hygiene assessments, risk assessments, monitoring and consulting services for a wide variety of workplaces/sites and contaminants of concern. He is a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) and a Suitably Qualified Person (SQP) in Qld able to consult on contaminated land. Kynan has been involved in numerous projects ranging from preliminary and detailed site investigations, soil chemical analysis, remediation, validation, environmental due diligence, material waste classification and beneficial soil re-use in Qld, NSW & the ACT.
Kynan has a Bachelor of Environmental Science majoring in Environmental Management from the University of New England, Armidale NSW. He is a Licensed Asbestos Assessor (LAA000112), BOHS P402 Certified Asbestos Building Surveyor and a Friable Asbestos Removal Supervisor. As a full member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) he is formally recognised as an Occupational Hygienist and provides personal exposure assessments for respirable dust/crystalline silica, noise, gases, welding fumes and diesel particulate matter.
